6×10 title spoiler? Jafar in Storybrooke by the end of the episode and a wish that comes back to bite people in the ass?

If there’s a wish to bring Robin back done with the genie lamp (Aladdin has it in 6×08), that means the rules of magic are going to be severely broken, and some people will end up paying the price for it.

And maybe that’s the reason Emma is having this vision of her impending death? 

We’re also supposed to find out in this episode who is under the hood. 

If they’re really going to respect the canon of OUATIW, Jafar’s whole endgame was to have enough power in the genie lamp to be able to break the rules of magic to bring people back from the dead, in that plot there were 3 different genies that were brothers and had been “cursed” to be genies for refusing to pay the price to save their mother from death, and he eventually succeeded in getting three wishes from the three different genies so he could raise an undead army basically and then kill his father (it’s a bit more complicated there but it’s been a while since I watched OUATIW and my memory’s a bit fuzzy); anyway, if like A&E said this plot with Jafar is happening before the events of OUATIW, maybe one of the reasons he hates Aladdin is because his lamp’s Genie actually was powerful enough to break that rule of magic and bring someone back from the dead, and Aladdin hid it from him so he couldn’t use it (and also maybe why he is a Savior?)

So I do think it’s likely that Aladdin’s lamp will come into play and I don’t think the theory that Regina (or EQ?) wishes Robin to come back from the dead is that far-fetched, I think it would be a good way to tie into the OUATIW storyline, again if they were serious about them still considering OUATIW canon.

I think Emma’s secret is coming out in 6×03.

Aside from being an episode that seems to be Captain Swan heavy, filled with possible parallels with 1×04, and whatever is going on with Killian assisting Belle while she’s pregnant (yeah, I’m gonna keep talking about how Killian’s story with Belle parallels Emma’s story with Ashley), someone pointed out to me that the episode title is kind of ironic.

Yeah, this is a Cinderella episode, but there’s the whole “waiting for the other shoe to drop” expression, where yeah, Emma’s secret is basically the other shoe dropping for the people who love her.

6×03 – I think the secret reveal happens here.

6×09 is called “Changelings” – Killian a fairy child? 

Oh!!! That would be both amazing and hilarious. I was just looking at that Cora fairy godmother gifset yesterday actually.

I was also thinking it was about the mechanic they’ll use for Robin’s temporary return.

I’ll take both though.

Especially if that Instagram from Bex about “Fairy Godmother” was related

Good catch. Completely forgotten about that. The title seems to indicate more than one changeling, so we will see.

Omg omg omg because Milah ran to take refuge from Rumple when he was nothing, and Belle is running to Killian for protection when Rumple is everything, and Killian’s not even in it for the relationship (I’m honestly convinced he didn’t approach Milah for that either, just a lost soul recognising another) he’s just being who he is, who he’s always been – a damn feminist hero who helps women find a way to stand on their own.

I have very high hopes for this story.

I am actually trembling with excitement for this story I’m losing my actual fucking mind over here.

Also. Also. Because Killian still carries guilt over how he acted during that situation (”I was the villain in that story”) and by helping his friend he’s almost kind of confronting that situation of his past and approaching it from this new place in his life? I mean, tbh I think he’s pulling a classic Killian and swinging to the other extreme in his view of his role in Milah’s leaving. The truth is a lot more complicated than “I was a hero/I was a villain”, but the fact of the matter is that I’ll bet the thought of “doing it right” will cross his mind.

Also, can we talk about how Belle will be taking refuge on the Jolly after the last time we saw her there, she was only just learning about what truly happened to Milah and accusing Killian of having a rotten heart? Can? We? Talk??????

(Will that be on her mind? Will Milah be on her mind? Will she wonder about her? Will she ask Killian about her? CAN I TELL YOU HOW MANY MILES OF RED HOT COALS I WOULD WALK OVER BAREFOOT FOR THAT CONVERSATION?)

What the fuck is Rumple going to even say to Killian when he makes his way towards the Jolly? What the fuck can he even say??? Like…What? Words??????? 

(Um, also. if there ever were a time for Milah’s underworld fate to come up, this is def the right situation for it, although I cannot even imagine how that would come up, but lbr Rumple has a history of bringing up Milah to trying and stun Killian see: four seconds before he ripped his heart from his chest ahem)

Like, I have so many more thoughts about this but I cannot even compute anything.

Like wtf is the fallout going to be bc YOU KNOW there will be a fallout.

Bless this whole post. I’m so excited about all of this too; and I definitely think this is one of the issues on which he’ll “try his best to be heroic” on this season.

So walking in heels in Lower Manhattan is an absolute bitch, also men are assholes because they don’t move out of the way, but I had time to think about some stuff from last night’s episode, and I’ll probably do a recap for the episode after I sit and give it another look.

Simply put, I think Emma is going to parallel David in Neverland (and I’m pretty sure I saw a post or maybe an edit about this particular parallel). Captain Swan tend to parallel Snowing in a lot of ways, and I think this is what’s coming down the pike for them in the next few episodes, although I really don’t see them dragging this secret out beyond 6×03.

David – dreamshade, thinks he will die, lies about it to his family, but most importantly to Snow.

Emma – tremors and visions of impending doom, lies to her family, but most importantly Killian.

Snow to Emma: 

It’s good to see you’ve inherited his tunnel vision (talking about how similar Emma and David are).

I find Lana’s shorter S1
Mayor Mills-esque hair to be interesting.

It’s probably nothing, just accommodating Lana’s actual hair, but she looks more like S1 Regina than she has since.

(My phone autocorrected Mayor to mayo because I guess it thought that was more likely)

My reaction to the hair was “oh, season 1 hair! Innneresting!”

I don’t think it’s on accident at all. Remember how Mayor Mills was back in season 1? 

That’s what I mean by interesting. I can’t wait to see how she acts.

I’ve been wondering if jealousy isn’t something that will start Regina down her path again.

Regina has been shown to be jealous of Emma. She even went as far as to tell her in season 3 that she (Emma) has everything. 

So weird you bring this up. I was just thinking of making a screen cap/gifset compilation of all the times Regina has looked on at displays of love/affection/family with jealousy/disdain.

Like Snow and Charming’s kisses in Neverland and outside Glinda’s exile door.

I think Regina will be filling the role Zelena filled the last 2 seasons. Their dialogue is sort of interchangeable with the whole “you have everything.”

I think it’s something that’s going to be progressive.

Emma got Killian back, Snow didn’t lose David, Zelena has Robin’s baby, Killian and Henry look like they’re getting closer. 

That can be a massive trigger. And Regina for 3 seasons compared herself to Emma and what Emma had/has. 

The jealousy gene in the Mills family is as prominent as the chin gene is with the Charmings.

I don’t wanna jump the gun, but this might be the perfect set up to have Emma go missing without anyone realizing she’s missing for a day or so?

I was looking at the BTS pics from yesterday, and the ones with Archie had me facepalming hard, because it looked like Emma was running from him, but there’s a BTS now where it looks like they came out of the office together instead. I thought that maybe they had gotten into some very uncomfortable talk, and Emma bolted, and then there was the bag in bug, and I was wondering why she would be planning on leaving, but go to her session with Archie, so that didn’t really make all that much sense, plus she wouldn’t leave Henry or Killian behind just like that, not when she’s fought as hard as she did for them.

OMG this makes so much sense! I thought about Archie trying to have her committed too but quickly dismissed it because yeah there’s no way Killian, Henry, or the Charmings would ever let that happen, so EQ kidnapping her sounds really plausible…

Emma fighting a cloaked figure.

Who else fought a cloaked figure, but the result was that he stabbed it and not the other way around?

David. And it turns out he was fighting himself, his fears. 

This is an episode titled “The Savior”, and Emma has sort of not been that in a while. She took on the darkness, killed her boyfriend, saw people lose their happy ending, or at least what constituted part of that.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Emma ends up fighting herself and if this won’t end up being a recurring dream that she has.

Emma is probably suffering from PTSD like some people have brought up. There has been no rest for her, there was this domino effect that happened after she took on the darkness that really hasn’t been stopped yet. 

I think this is all designed so that she embraces who she is. There’s only one Savior.

(they also seem to be borrowing something from GoT. Kill the boy, Jon Snow. But that’s just an impression)

I though about Charming fighting his fears in S3 too! And it honestly was my first spec thought just after watching those pics… It could be an interesting POV there imo, we shall see!
