i wrote a novel with my writing/life partner jess (@jandco on twitter, go say hi, it’ll confuse her), and it was summarily rejected over 20 times; the few who bothered to respond all told us that the manuscript was great and don’t change a thing, it’s just that it won’t sell. we’re not #on trend, apparently.

it won’t cost you anything except whatever time it takes you to read an 83k word book. this particular website where you can read the fever occasionally offers publishing deals to the manuscripts posted there, if a lot of people read the entire thing (their site tracks that!) and leave good ratings/comments. you guys do this for me with my fanfiction all the time, so….????? would you be willing to go an extra step?

So excited to read this! @initiala and @bleebug have been taunting me with their rave reviews.
In an effort to try and combat my sadness I’m going to be rereading all the fanfic I love in this fandom, both old and new, and writing detailed reviews of why I love them so much and what makes them special to me. I will do the same for the beautiful fanart/videos I love as well.
This will continue indefinitely.
Fanworks are how we can keep this show going and keep the love for our ship alive regardless of what happens on screen, and to me there is nothing I love more about fandom than fanfiction and fanart. It’s one of the purest forms of love and expression and people pour so much of themselves into these works.
I hope others will consider joining in and doing the same.
Regardless of any inner fandom conflicts or opinions I think the one thing that unites us all is a love for this ship and the work that was inspired by them.

Crazy fandom idea… we should all dress up for the wedding episode and post pics with the #CSWedding on twitter and get it trending… anyone?
Just another idea, maybe we could do a bit of fundraising along with it and those that wish to can donate a small amount to a charity for those affected by any of the issues that have faced Emma or Killian, eg charities supporting orphans, young mothers, amputees, alcoholics and their families, teenage runaways, etc. Every penny counts!
I dont think there’s a charity to help rehabilitate Disney villains though. I Googled.
oh I like that… or maybe we can even pick a few charities that we know are important to Colin and Jen. We know from IWD which one she was raising money for and Colin has supported The Cable Project in the past (I think his brother is involved) so maybe instead of registry for gifts we can donate?
Good thinking! This ship has given so much to everyone, maybe we can use our collective fandom power to give something back to others.

the idea came from @emmandhook who suggested the idea of taking pic of Tiny Hook whenever you live via print or stuff like that…
Well the idea has cogitated in my head during the past weeks and here I propose you what I’ve found:
The idea would be to have 1 big letter filled with several mini cards like the one i’ve made and differents Tiny Hook (with sunglass to go to the sun or a big scarf and beanies to face the coldest winter) that you could assemble and then take a pic of your post card where you are living (outside or indoor it would be up to you). Along with this I thought it would be cool to create a letter “for Emma Swan” where we killian could write a little something every time you received the big letter before sending it to the next participant! 😀

have the time to start it but the more you are, the better it will be and the sooner I’ll start to make them!
Note that it would be 1 person by country (or 3 if it’s big lol) so I don’t have 100 cards to do and to send heehee

for those of you that read my books (and you know i love you if you do) my new one, crucesignati, is coming out next week, and is available for preorder now, here. as you probably know, i make my money from my writing, and if you enjoy lightbearers or incarcerus or the dark horizon or any of the other fic i spend a lot of time on for free, i do encourage you to check it out! it’s cheap, i promise. and i would love you a lot. and i think it’s good. (well, of course i think it’s good, but hopefully you also think so.) it’s a modern-day historical thriller and very much in the vein of my adventure-y, plot-y, witty, well-world-built fics that people enjoy.
(PSST….. the jones brothers, or rather a version of them, are in it, and liam is an MI6 agent/former royal navy captain. i just thought i would point that out.)
(plus, i also have an author page on facebook, which is here, which someone else runs and thus, you know, actually gets updated in a timely fashion… i am ashamed).
I will be filming in about 2 weeks and I’m getting really excited (but also nervous) and I could really, really use your support to get this movie made!
