Okay, but if the Beanstalk is in Storybrooke now (or Storybrooke adjacent), can  someone please write Captain Swan renewing their vows under the beanstalk.

Cause Killian totally would have put that request in “to get married where it all began” had there been a few portal beans around at the time of their first wedding.

Make this happen fandom. Pretty please?

This would be soooo cute! Bonus if Hope is old enough to participate in the vow renewal ceremony.

You all are killing me with the feels today, but please, never stop

Forever Like That

Short and sweet. With lots of fluff. Do you expect anything less from me?

They were a team.

Throughout their entire relationship this was a fact. And after all the years together, this fact still remained true. Most of all, he just enjoyed her presence. If her hand was free, he reached for it. If her body was close by, he wanting to wrap his arm around her. He wanted to breathe the same air as her. He realized this as he was reaching for her thigh on the passenger side of the car.

Over the years Killian Jones had become a remarkably good driver. Since having Hope, there had been times where she became fussy and Emma was the best at consoling her, Emma had also become a professional multi-tasker and there were times she pumped her breast milk while they were driving somewhere. But he grew to love driving more when Emma became too pregnant to drive, he loved being able to take care of her in that way. And when she couldn’t drive (and definitely didn’t want to) after giving birth to Hope, Killian had mastered the art of the road, even being able to drive with just his hook on the steering wheel.

Regina had created the curse in such a way that every realm was connected through two roads, which intertwined through each other. It was a miracle, really, how she was able to bring every fairytale character into the town of Storybrooke, but she did it. And their family would be together forever.

“That was beautiful, don’t you think?” Emma’s voice piped in through the sound of the wind rushing through the open windows in their now family friendly SUV. The yellow bug being retired to their driveway for the time being, but still used for Emma’s solo drives here and there. “Regina, I mean, the entire ceremony was beautiful.” Her hand fell over his, rubbing small circles over the callouses covering his fingers.

She heard Hope cooing from the back seat and she sighed with contentment. This was her life and she never imagined it would be, but here she was driving home with Captain Hook – the love of her life.

What a life.

“It sure was, Swan.” he chuckled, “It’ll be really wonderful to see where she leads this town,” he paused, smiling at her, “with incredible hope, I’m sure.” His eyes glanced back at Hope, from the baby mirror he installed on the car’s seat, sucking on her fingers and trying to kick the toys hanging from the top of the carrier.

It had been a life. It had been a life filled with incredible sorrow, but immense joy. It had been filled with regrets and mistakes, but some of the best choices of her life. It had been filled with family and friends. Killian. It had been filled with Killian Jones. The man who saw past her brokenness. The man who saw past her walls and desired to break every one of them. The man who waited for her heart to be ready for him. He was it. He was the reason she continued moving forward. Their future was worth every mistake, every battle, every sorrow. If only she could go back and tell her younger self not to worry, that she would have a true fairytale romance. Literally.

She looked out the window, passing a different castle every couple minutes. Her other hand found his arm and she was running her fingers up and down his skin. Reveling in the fact that he was real, and he was hers. All these years later and she was still surprised by the fact that they found each other.

Killian brought her hand to his lips, kissing the soft skin. He sighed, a smile creeping on his face, “I’m gonna love you forever, Swan,” he chuckled, “I’m sure of it.”

Emma laughed, still surprised each time he professed his love for her. The butterflies in her stomach had never gone away. “Killian,” her voice was soft, filled with emotions. “Thank you for this life I never thought I’d have,” she whispered.

He squeezed her hand, and together they rode through the different realms that were now all on the outskirts of Storybrooke. And she knew she could spend forever like that. Killian her shade tree in the summer, her shelter in the rain. She was thankful to continuing to be writing the pages in their story.

Oh, how she loved this life.
