I don’t want to dwell excessively on the latest drama, and I understand it’s just an opinion and everyone is entitled to have those, but the idea that showing a man carrying his baby in his arm is somehow “emasculating him” is just impossible for me to wrap my head around, sorry. I think it’s lovely to see a father doting on his child, and I don’t understand why it was somehow the cutest and most perfect thing ever when WHook held baby Alice, but it’s somehow such a sin to see OG Killian carrying baby Hope.

It’s really fucking sad that the show is over and the drama still keeps going strong though…

Killian Jones

xemmaloveskillianx:

With the show coming to an end, I’d thought I’d make a post listing my favorite scenes with different characters. Yeah, he’s my fav, and the other half of my OTP, so he gets three scenes per season.

This is supposed to be about positivity, so I please ask you keep your hate to yourself. Thanks!

  • Huge thank you to the wonderful @cshappybeginning for the amazing poster she’s created for this fic!
  • Tagging @yayimallamaagain to save her some time.
  • Notes: there is not a whole lot of CS in this one, but this is a very important chapter with some major clues to what happened/will happen. There is also a bit of Greek mythology 🙂

Storybrooke – Present Day

I am Killian’s mother.

The words haunted
Killian as he took a step back from Morgana. He struggled to remember where he
was as a cold shiver ran down his body. His staring eyes were fixed on
Morgana’s back and he could hear nothing but the distant, muffled buzz in his
ears.

I am Killian’s mother.

Images of
Emma pointing the Fragarach at his throat in the Enchanted Forest flooded his
mind. He knew how the sword’s magical power had not allowed him to lie. He had
been forced to tell Emma the truth. Just like Morgana now.

She
couldn’t be lying. She was his
mother.

The
daunting realization had his stomach in knots, churning and tumbling as if he
were sailing through bumpy waters once more.

No, it
couldn’t be. She couldn’t –

How.

He was
vaguely aware of Morgana’s body turning around to face him, surprise swirling
in her eyes as her mouth gaped open. He wasn’t aware of how much time passed
until her lips started moving, no words ever reaching his ears. He only
remembered Emma was there when he felt the touch of her hand on him, rubbing
soothing circles on his back.

“Killian,”
Morgana’s shaky whisper was the first thing he registered once the reminder
that Emma was by his side snapped him out of his puzzlement. He didn’t have to
do this alone, Emma was right there.

“Killian,”
Morgana – or Anne – repeated, a wide smile on her face as a single tear ran
down her cheek. “I’m sorry, I wanted to tell you who I was, but I was
afraid.”
