* note* First I have to apologize because my manip this week does not feature captain swan. It’s sadly just Killian Jones because I’ve been having issues with my ipad which is where I do all of my photoshopping and have all of my projects saved so I wasn’t able to finish what I wanted to. But today is my post date and I didn’t want to miss it and this is something that was mostly finished so hopefully the lovely ladies of @cscocktoberfest will accept my humble contribution.

  It had been a gag gift from ruby when she moved in to her apartment with some quip about how if she kept refusing to date these would be the only men in her life, but Emma was fine with that. Every month featured a handsome kilted man who could never cheat on her, abandon her, or let her down in any way. And every month she dutifully changed the calendar to see who her fantasy man of the month would be. That is until October…

   Mr. October, where to begin? Let’s just say Mr. October 2016 was still hanging up in her apartment in October 2018. And had featured in all of her late night fantasies for the last two years. He really was quite the specimen and there was something about the intense look in those blue eyes…. and October being her birthday month, she likes to think he was just for her. But when she finds herself staring into those familiar blue eyes after literally crashing into Mr. October, star of her late night fantasies, in the stairwell to her apartment, she is more than thrown. Completely flushed and caught off guard, Emma’s first instinct is to be defensive. Their first meeting does not go well, but unfortunately ( or fortunately) she’ll have many more chances. What happens when Emma’s fantasy man moves in next door? And what will happen when she realizes that he’s so  much more than a pretty face?
