David gives Killian a hardy pat on the shoulder as he passes by, slowing his steps when he catches the look of unease on the pirate’s face. He follows Killian’s gaze over to where Emma is standing, sharing a congratulatory hug with Granny. Normally, Killian gets a bit awestruck when looking at Emma (understandable when looking at your True Love; David knows the feeling), so he’s instantly on alert when he spots the terror clawing at the edges of Hook’s normally enamored blue eyes.
