What can I say that hasn’t yet been said about this steamy scene? What I love the most about these kisses is how they go from passionate to gentle and then to passionate again until they escalate into a thirsty “I-gotta-have-you-now-screw-the-pancakes-and-let´s-bang-on-this-kitchen-table” make out session. I think the reason why I find myself rewatching this scene so many times is because these kisses are the perfect mix of the passion and desperation we saw in their first kiss in Neverland and the tenderness and bliss of their second kiss after their adventure in the past. It’s gentle. It’s rough. It’s beautiful. It’s hot. It’s pancakes. It’s Captain Swan.

My head canon is that when Emma found out which room they hid Hook in, she went there and when she walked in, they had already stripped his jacket off and when they went to go take his brace off she told them to stop and she would do it. And when they tried to argue she replied with, “Do you really want to be the person that is caught taking off Captain Hook’s brace if he wakes up?”
Then after thinking it over, they all leave and she quickly takes his brace off and wraps his stump. Just as she finishes, she hears a commotion outside and the door slams open and Gold storms in. He tries to attack Hook, so she literally lays herself across his body to protect him while nurses and doctors try to hold Gold back. Eventually he stops, and she stays in the room until Hook wakes.
Which is why Gold threatens her later with “It has to be today, because every minute I’m here, is a minute closer to me killing Hook.”
OMG, this is brilliant! Headcanon absolutely accepted!!!
Also explains how she had his hook wrapped in the scarf he used to bandage her hand at the beanstalk in her desk.

Ausiello: As you may have surmised since emailing this in — given this slew of confirmed returns — Colin O’Donoghue will be playing two roles as the series winds down, the actor shared during our visit to the set. In fact, O’Donoghue said that the before our arrival marked “my last day dressed as a pirate,” for a scene with returning leading lady Jennifer Morrison. “It’s a lovely little moment,” he smiled. “Anyone who’s a fan of Hook and Emma being together will get a kick out of it.”
