Hi guys! 67 days until Christmas and I plan to start a new round of #cssecretsanta. I tried to get in contact with the original creator of the @cssecretsanta blog, but unfortunately, I got no answer so far. If she is interested in doing it herself I will, of course, step back or help her but as I really really really want to have another round of secret santa, I decided to make this blog and ask all of you if there is any interest or not.

My Etsy shop is open and I’ve got a few OUAT dolls up right now with more coming. I’m not going to stop selling dolls, but I am going to be phasing out all my OUAT dolls. Since the end of season 6 they haven’t been selling well, so unless someone messages me absolutely desperate for a particular doll, I’m not going to be making them anymore. So basically, if you want one, now is your chance.
Welcome to Cocktober! The……thing where we want to get everyone together and make 100 new smutty things in the month of October. I’m talking pancakes. Tacos. Coffee. Other foods we haven’t yet made dirty.
And this isn’t limited to fic or gifs – you can manip, you can write, you can do a picset, you can make gifs! Or a combination! Or more! We accept all things, so long as it’s smutty.

Cocktober

Okay, so I have been working on a project for the last few days and I’m excited to have finally finished it and to be able to present it to you!
I have always loved fan blogs dedicated to one specific character and with members who actively post/reblog content about that character. Fortunately for me (and for all of us), the OUAT fandom has plenty of these blogs with very talented people who share their Emma and Killian creations. But while I have in @fyesthesavior one of my favorite blogs/sources on everything Emma Swan, I struggled to find a similar blog dedicated to Killian that was active and did not also include Wish Hook/Rogers – which is perfectly fine. Each person has different interpretations of the show and builds these blogs according to those views. However, as a fan of OG Hook and not a fan of Wish Hook, I found myself wishing there was a blog dedicated only to the original Killian we have followed since season 2. The way I see it, OG Hook and Wish Hook are different characters with their own separate identities and I prefer for them not to be lumped together. As one of my favorite characters, I think Killian deserves to have a blog dedicated only to himself.
Knowing that many people in the fandom feel the same way I do, I decided to create an original Killian Jones/Hook appreciation blog myself. That’s how FYEAHTHECAPTAINcame to life.
If, like me, you have been avoiding Killian appreciation blogs because of the Wish Hook/Rogers posts, this is a completely safe zone for you. The only S7 content that will be posted/reblogged will be related to OG Hook’s scenes from 7×02 and 7×22.

If you enjoy writing for Captain Swan and wish for the fandom to continue long after the series finale, then please help us spread the word and join us to fall for Captain Swan over and over again. Stories will be posted in October to kick off up the Autumn season. Read below for more information.
The Fall
What is this event about? How exactly do I “Fall for Captain Swan”?
It’s simple. We want you to write a one-shot about Captain Swan falling in love. It can be an Alternative Universe or Enchanted Forest or Cannon Divergent. It doesn’t really matter as long as it features our favorite couple falling in love in some form or another.
What kind of stories do I have to write about?
Since all of our authors will be posting in the Fall, themes such as College AUs, Football or Halloween are encouraged but not required. You can write any setting you’d like involving Captain Swan.
The Catch
How is this different from the CSBB or any other CS writing event?
Good question! All of our authors will be writing stories during the allotted amount of time with a few requirements and expectations. Sound familiar, right? But the catch? The catch is the authors will be submitting their stories ANONYMOUSLY! Find out more about our BLIND DATE WITH A FANFICfeature.
Wait what?! Hold up! Why would I as an author want to submit MY work without anyone knowing I created it?
Here’s the thing – we get that there are many stories that get all kinds of likes and reblogs based on the effort and work the authors put into them, BUT unfortunately there are authors and stories that go unnoticed. This where our Blind Date with a Fic feature comes in. We want ALL of your stories to be read and enjoyed and reblogged without any other factors at play here. You spend hours and hours planning and coming up with and writing the perfect story, so why shouldn’t everyone want to read it? In short, we would like to avoid or eliminate biasm or popularity when people read your stories.
Does that mean I can’t post my story on AO3 or FF.NET?
Absolutely not! We want the stories to be on Tumblr for a month to allow your story to receive all the praise and reblogs it deserves, then all of the authors will be revealed, and at the time you are free to post it wherever you want.
To start things off, we would like to see how many people are interested, so please read the GUIDELINES and send us an ask or message with any questions you may have and spread the word. If we have enough people interested, we will be posting sign-ups and the schedule on June 1st. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ASK!
So I was chatting with @artistic-writer and she had a great idea about turning my CS movie au series into a fandom wide event. I thought that sounded fun, so here we go!
How it will work: In short, this is gonna be low-key. It will be similar to the OUAT fandom crescendo. Write a CS fic that’s a movie AU, post it, and tag it #csromcom18 (because that’s simpler than the longer title above). Also tag me, @searchingwardrobes and I’ll reblog your story and keep a running list. At the end of the summer, I’ll post a master list. Also reblog each other’s stories and flail over them 🙂
Length of event: Memorial Day to Labor Day
Prompts: I counted them up, and last year I got 42 prompts for movie AUs! And that doesn’t count the ones I actually wrote and the ones I plan on doing this summer. So each week, I’ll post a few prompts. These are totally optional. There only purpose is to give ya’ll ideas. Also, this is a HUGE fandom. Chances are, someone has already written some of these. So can we all agree to be kind to one another and realize that people can have different takes on the same idea? And also know I’m not perfect and can’t possibly have read everything that’s out there.
Fic lengths: One shots or MCs, it doesn’t matter. I couldn’t limit myself last year, so I’m not even going to try!
Re-releases: Having said the above, if you’ve already written some movie AUs, re-release them using the tag. (poking @phiralovesloki and @pocket-anon )
Artists: Ya’ll are welcome too! Whether it’s movie poster manips or movie promo au vids, post ‘em and tag ‘em!
