AKA what if Killian had been the one to follow Emma to the Wish Realm?

When Emma disappears to a realm where the Dark Curse never happened, Killian finds a way to follow her, only to find out that she doesn’t remember him. But he realizes that true love can break any curse… So all he has to do is make her fall in love with him again.

THIS IS EVERYTHING I NEEDED FROM THAT WISH REALM SOMEONE HELP

@captainswanismyendgame

Wait are you telling me that’s not what happened?

saviorskillian:

Just a little post 6×10 drabble.

Stressed because they missed the portal, Emma goes to the place she feels closest to the one she misses the most. Though he can’t be there with her, the docks calm her. The waves crashing against the shore bring her a sense of peace. She sits there alone in silence until she hears the swishing of leather and big footsteps approach her.

“What is a pretty lass like you doing out here by herself?”

She looks up in shock. “Killian?”

I felt inspired by
the Neverland Renaissance and this just kind of…happened. A canon divergence
that loops back around eventually, takes place during Think Lovely Thoughts
just before the walk to Pan’s camp when all the Nevengers come back together
for the final plan.

“As wonderful as the assurance we are able to get off this
cursed island is,” Killian looked at the grim faces of the assembled group. “I
think we are overlooking the very important detail that it won’t do us a bloody
bit of good if Pan kills the lot of us.”

It had been an exhausting day so far, full of near death
experiences and long treks through sweaty, dense jungle, but the day was far
from over, and Pan was still a very dangerous foe. A foe they desperately
needed to reign in if they had even a hope of getting home.

“We have a plan,” Neal glared at him from his perch on a
fallen log. “Or were you too distracted
during that whole conversation to hear it?”

Emma shifted uncomfortably, eyes trained on the ground, arms
crossed defensively across her chest.

The tension in the clearing was almost unbearable, coming at
them from almost all sides: a general animosity between Hook and Neal, a chilly
silence between David and Mary Margaret, something mysterious and unspoken
between Hook and Tinker Bell that in turn caused something unnamable to flare
up in Emma’s chest whenever they so much as stood near each other, and then
there was the ever present strain between Hook and herself, stretched taut
between them and ready to snap.

“I merely meant to remind you, mate,” Killian bit out
through clenched teeth. “That Pan will be anticipating your previously employed
method of neutralization. Especially considering, you’ve used it every time you’ve faced him so far.”

“What are you suggesting Hook?” Tink asked giving the pirate
a surveying look. She had a feeling she knew exactly where this was going, and
she didn’t like it. “It better not be what I think you are suggesting.”
Killian practically grinned, bowing a little in her direction.

“Unfortunately milady, that is exactly what I’m suggesting,”
he raised an eyebrow at her. “Unless there are any objections of course.”

Fic: Roses in December (AO3)

Author: just_another_classic

Summary: In a flash of rainbow light, Emma remembers. (Missing Year Canon Divergence)

Rating: T

Chapters: 6 + Epilogue

Status: Complete

Type: Captain Swan

Trope: Season 3 Canon Divergence, Unplanned Pregnancy

Personal Thoughts: I read this fic really fast! I loved every minute of it! The writing was really good, the storyline was perfect, and there’s nothing I love more than a fic that uses two tropes at once. I think this might have been a one-shot at one point because I remembered the first chapter, but not the rest. A+ and a must-read!

Thanks for the recommendation!

Roses in December (7/7) – Epilogue

justanotherwannabeclassic:

This is it, the end of the story. I will likely make a second post about this later, but thank you so much to everyone who has read this. Your constant outflow of kind words, great reviews, and support has been so amazing, and I honestly couldn’t have turn the original one-shot into a seven-chapter story if it wasn’t for all of that. On a personal note, I am hyped to have completely finished my first multi-chapter fic, clocking in at over 25,000 words, so that’s a pretty big milestone for me. So, again, many thanks to everyone who joined me on this ride.

Chapter 7 – Epilogue

The stairs to the Queen Anne house creak under his boots, and he notes it will be something he’ll need to fix. The keys are a comfortable, yet unfamiliar, weight in his hand. He runs his thumb over the cuts, nervous as he is, as he approaches the front door. Should Emma be amenable to this proposal – but not a proposal – this be the last time he approaches the glass-paned entrance as the sole owner of the home.

He takes a deep breath, and spares a glance to the baby strapped to his chest.

“Shall we, Cygnet?”

Wendy kicks and bounces in the carrier, her movements uncomfortable, but a hopeful sign of the excitement to come.

Killian Jones unlocks the door, and crosses the threshold what he hopes will be their future.

acrobat-elle:

This is a belated birthday fic for the lovely @caprelloidea and @ripplestitchskein. It’s a sequel to though we shall land no more, a smutty bit of Neverland canon divergence. You don’t have to read it to enjoy this; just know that Emma and Killian had a bit of a… moment between 3×06 and 3×07.

Title from J.M. Barrie. Full quote: “See,“ he said, “the arrow struck against this. It is the kiss I gave her. It has saved her life.”

Rated M.

~4,300 words. AO3 | FF.net

Emma stays on the deck of the Jolly after everyone else has gone below to bed, enjoying the first cool, humidity-free breeze she’s felt in what seems like months. She’s not sure how long their sail – flight – whatever – back from Neverland will take, but from the look of things it’ll be several hours, at least. Even with the enormous weight lifted from her shoulders, the knowledge that Henry is safe and her father will live and they’re going home, she’s still too wound up to think about bed, too many other things on her mind.

Rumple had promised the cure for her father but she still doesn’t trust the man as far as she can throw him. And even once he is cured, there’s just too much to deal with. They sent her away as a baby only to want to try again, to have a… not a replacement, Emma knows that logically, but to have another child and give it everything that was torn away from her. She’d already been replaced by one set of parents. The thought of it happening again makes her insides clench.

Part of her wants to go below and watch Henry sleep, watch him breathe. She decides against it, not wanting to risk waking him. They’ll have plenty of time together once they’re back in Storybrooke. Time she’ll have to share with his other mother, something Regina had made abundantly clear.

Time she’ll have to share with his father as well.

She very pointedly does not turn around, does not glance over her shoulder from where she leans against the railing at the stern of the ship. Neal is behind the wheel, and her place on the ship – as far as humanly possible from him as she can get – is no accident. She’s been quiet enough that he likely doesn’t even realize she’s still up here; he’d have approached her by now otherwise. She doesn’t want to listen to his excuses, to his promises to change, to him trying to win her back, doesn’t even care if he truly means it this time. She’s been thrown away too many times in her life. She won’t give Neal the chance to do it again.

Yes, there was a weight lifted from her shoulders, only now replaced by several others. The more she lets her mind wander, the less refreshing the cool air seems.

_____

Killian carefully set the lantern down on a
fairly clear patch of the packed dirt floor, hesitant to even bring a hint of
heat into the abandoned stable, considering most of it appeared as if it could
burst into flames at any moment. Sitting alone in the dark held no appeal for
him however, and there was really nowhere else for him to hide out at this
point.

He may be a masochist at times, often inflicting
a certain amount of this bittersweet torture upon himself, but even he had his
limits. Sharing a set of rooms with Emma Swan while she was naked in a tub of
steaming water, skin no doubt flushed a delicate rosey pink, just feet away
from a perfectly serviceable bed, was not a torture he could endure. He had
survived many things, vanquished many foes in his long life, but that was
not a weakness he could overcome.

Especially when she kept looking at him with
eyes that seemed to want him to kiss her, especially when she finally seemed to
be truly ready to accept him, to truly let him in at last. He chuckled darkly
to himself at the thought and leaned back against the door of an old wooden
stall, drawing his flask from his bag and let the bitter irony wash over him.
Of all the times for him to prove himself to her.
