vfxsup#tbt to these three amigos… you already know 2 of them 😉 that’s not Jesus in the middle, that’s Eagle Eagilsson who directed a hand full of episodes over he years. I always enjoyed his episodes, he is pure entertainment 😂
That year we had everything, Jen and Colin did press room roundtables together so we got mountains of CS goodness and they were teasing the S5 storyline so they no longer had to play coy and we got them talking about the characters being in love and fighting for one another. Good times.
So many photos, so many great interviews and there are no words to describe how amazing the nerdHQ panel was. It will go down as one of the greatest panels ever. Thank you Zachary Levi and thank you @happinessisblooming for helping to put Jen, Colin and Josh on their radar.
What did we do to deserve to much amazing stuff??
Honorable mention to…
SDCC 2014 was super fun for me because it was my first one being in fandom and I had no idea what was coming. I hadn’t consciously made plans to be at home that day (in 2015 & 2016 I rearranged my weekend around it!) but luckily my plans were movable because I wasn’t going anywhere! It started on Friday night with Adam posting the dinner pic with Jen and Colin and it never let up from there. We got a full day of mind blowing stuff, from Jen “comforting” Colin with the first head/shoulder tilt in the panel…
…to amazing interviews where they teased CS (and each other) and talked about Emma’s “issues” and how far gone the character were for one another. Then we were blessed with lots of photos and sightings of the cast out at parties.
I mean.. gold, just gold!
SDCC 2016 had some great moments too, and it will forever be the day that gave us the TVLine Jen/Colin portrait!
We’d wanted a real photo of the two of them for so long and when Ausiello tweeted that photo out in the morning, it was glorious. JMo skipped the round table room so we missed joint interviews, but we got tons of group interviews and later we got the terrific EW family photo with Jen on Colin’s lap. So good. So very, very good.
San Diego Comic Con 2014, 2015, 2016 were the best. Bar none.
