Hey! Got any thoughts about the next step Emma’s considering re: her relationship with Killian?

Second base?

Lol – I don’t know anon. I’m one of those viewers that believes they’ve already had sex and that Killian should already be living in the house he picked out for them to start their future TOGETHER.

“The house in Storybrooke. I’m not afraid anymore. I want it. With you. It’s ours.”

Those were her words in 5A.

So if it’s Emma asking him to move in…like I don’t see how that’s supposed to be some big step she needs to CONSIDER when she’s already shown she was willing to risk basically everything and everyone to preserve their future in THAT house by turning him into a Dark One and then marching into hell to bring him back from the dead.

So I’m just not here for any writing that treats them as two regular people just dating who are possibly ready to move on to something more serious. They were declared True Love during a season in which they demonstrated they would do anything and everything for one another. As far as I’m concerned the only “next step” Emma should be taking, if the writing was in any way consistent with what played out in S5, is a marriage proposal.

Do I expect that? No.

It’s probably her thinking about asking him to move in. Because living together – well it’s totally realistic that this is something she’d be questioning after
risking her life and soul to have a future with him…right?

Sorry for the sarcasm – I know your question was a sincere one. I guess what I’m trying to say is that the only things I think it’s likely to be (sexy or moving in) are things that I don’t think she should be CONSIDERING – because I believe those are things that should ALREADY have happened.

So while I will for sure be excited if it’s either “first” sex or an invitation to live together I will still feel like it’s poor writing.

That said, if the cohabitation is brought up in a way that involves her desire for them to really start a life together, to be a family, for him to be involved in not just her life, but also Henry’s life, in a meaningful way – well I would consider that significant. I’d consider that progress from where they were last season.

We already know that there will be some Swan Jones family time in the upcoming episode so I think CS fans, myself included, are really going to love this one!

replied to your post “Can I tell you how here I am for the Rumple/Hook antagonism to be…”

I WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN AT THE PARALLELING

Omg omg omg because Milah ran to take refuge from Rumple when he was nothing, and Belle is running to Killian for protection when Rumple is everything, and Killian’s not even in it for the relationship (I’m honestly convinced he didn’t approach Milah for that either, just a lost soul recognising another) he’s just being who he is, who he’s always been – a damn feminist hero who helps women find a way to stand on their own.

I have very high hopes for this story.

I am actually trembling with excitement for this story I’m losing my actual fucking mind over here.

Also. Also. Because Killian still carries guilt over how he acted during that situation (”I was the villain in that story”) and by helping his friend he’s almost kind of confronting that situation of his past and approaching it from this new place in his life? I mean, tbh I think he’s pulling a classic Killian and swinging to the other extreme in his view of his role in Milah’s leaving. The truth is a lot more complicated than “I was a hero/I was a villain”, but the fact of the matter is that I’ll bet the thought of “doing it right” will cross his mind.

Also, can we talk about how Belle will be taking refuge on the Jolly after the last time we saw her there, she was only just learning about what truly happened to Milah and accusing Killian of having a rotten heart? Can? We? Talk??????

(Will that be on her mind? Will Milah be on her mind? Will she wonder about her? Will she ask Killian about her? CAN I TELL YOU HOW MANY MILES OF RED HOT COALS I WOULD WALK OVER BAREFOOT FOR THAT CONVERSATION?)

What the fuck is Rumple going to even say to Killian when he makes his way towards the Jolly? What the fuck can he even say??? Like…What? Words???????

(Um, also. if there ever were a time for Milah’s underworld fate to come up, this is def the right situation for it, although I cannot even imagine how that would come up, but lbr Rumple has a history of bringing up Milah to trying and stun Killian see: four seconds before he ripped his heart from his chest ahem)

Like, I have so many more thoughts about this but I cannot even compute anything.

Like wtf is the fallout going to be bc YOU KNOW there will be a fallout.

Damn show, you did it. I’m fucking losing it.

YES THIS.

THESE ARE THE THINGS I NEED IN MY LIFE.

What if he necklace he pulls out of the space time continuum that is the area inside his vest, is something related to Milah??!?

And they are totes having a heart to heart conversation about her before Rumple shows up?

Bless this whole post. I’m so excited about all of this too; and I definitely think this is one of the issues on which he’ll “try his best to be heroic” on this season.

I. CAN’T. WAIT
