Question: Will we get to see Once Upon a Time‘s original Hook again before the end of the series (with or without Emma)? –Katie
Ausiello: As you may have surmised since emailing this in — given this slew of confirmed returns — Colin O’Donoghue will be playing two roles as the series winds down, the actor shared during our visit to the set. In fact, O’Donoghue said that the before our arrival marked “my last day dressed as a pirate,” for a scene with returning leading lady Jennifer Morrison. “It’s a lovely little moment,” he smiled. “Anyone who’s a fan of Hook and Emma being together will get a kick out of it.”
I’m feeling so emotional about Jen’s return for the finale.
The show may be ending but Emma’s story isn’t.
She has her whole happy ending to live out and I’m so so glad we’re getting a chance to see even a little a piece of that.
When we first met Emma she was an orphan with no friends. A woman who had no hope of finding romantic love. A woman who had given up what she believed was her only chance at motherhood.
Emma was so scarred by her past that she had no hope for the future.
Seven years later and our favorite show is coming to an end! It’s been an incredible ride, and to celebrate all the amazing things OUAT has given us over the years – two actors and characters we love and the greatest ship of all time, not to mention all the lessons and so many amazing memories – I’m giving away two prints autographed by our very own Jennifer Morrison and Colin O’Donoghue! Petition to change “he looked at her like she was the sun” to “he looked at her like she was the moon” and any other variation bc I look at the moon in wonder and love and amazement while I’ve only ever just squinted angrily at the sun
He looked at her like she was the sun, in that he never looked at her except in frustration. He basked in her warmth, he complained when she was gone, but he never looked. On days she was muted, he complained. On days she was stronger, he hid from her. He never looked at her until she was leaving, and in the beauty of the sunset he wondered how he’d never seen her before.
