But then again, Killian Jones has never really been one for “shouldn’t”
He should have died centuries ago, been nothing but bones and dust long before she was even born. He should have despised her for her betrayal, leaving him chained like an animal at the top of that beanstalk with words that smarted far more than he cared to admit. He should have sailed off when he had the chance, with the magic bean in his hand and all the realms at his feet. He should have taken what he wanted like the pirate that he was, not ceded his hard-won ground to his rival and given up his pursuit, his pledge, his oath.
When I win your heart….
He shouldn’t have fallen in love with Emma Swan.
Her final kiss tastes of salt, from her tears or his (it’s both), her skin is warm and alive under his hand when he touches her cheek, her hair is the sunlight he’ll never see again, as bright as the break of dawn over the bow of the Jolly. Her love fills the empty space in his chest as she sought to fill it with her own heart, cleaved in two and offered without a moment’s hesitation.
I love you
He brushes his lips across her knuckles, a gesture he knows is old-fashioned by her standards, a remnant of another time and place. They shouldn’t have had this time at all, he is dead, he died by the hand he holds until she is pulled away from him at last and the light fades away.
She shouldn’t have come here at all, shouldn’t have risked herself for him….but she did.
His heart shouldn’t break when she’s gone…but it does.
Can you imagine them doing everything with her they never got to do when they were kids, like birthday’s, holiday’s, doing homework? Taking pictures of every little moment because they don’t want to forget a second of it.
Killian’s going to be that dad who is going to need two phones just hold all the pictures and video’s of her, I just know it, while Emma is going to want to document every milestone.
And Henry, oh boy, he’s just going to love being an older brother. He’s going to read her stories, make her her own little storybook and make sure she knows all the places he liked to go to and play at when he was her age.
This little girl is going to know so much love… I just…
I finished my binge of all the episodes of CCS Clear Card so far and I have so many questions???? And also ngl I’m a bit nervous that they’re going to go on a TRC-esque twist on me or sth, like please at least let ONE version of Syaoran and Sakura be actually happy and together 😫The rest under the cut so I don’t clutter people’s dashes.
But anyway, onto some theories, I think clearly Eriol knows everything that’s going on, and as per usual for him he has outright kept some people either completely in the dark (like Sakura, Yue and Kero), or given only part of the information (like Syaoran). Clearly Syaoran knows something, and I’m pretty sure he was tasked with protecting Sakura by “cloaking” the Sakura cards (making them invisible, since they obviously haven’t disappeared and Sakura doesn’t seem completely freaked out like she was in the second movie when they were being stolen by Nothingness), and also pretty sure the bears have a big role in all of this.
Like, the cards only turned transparent after Syaoran came back and they exchanged the bears, and in episode 14 Syaoran was using his magical board with the bear beside him, and that sphere he made appear was clearly what he used to stop time later in the episode.
So… what if, and bear with me here (no pun intended), Eriol told him they needed to cloak the Sakura cards from the new antagonist (who I’m pretty sure is Kaito), and that he would need to help her magically but since he didn’t have any cards and the Sakura cards only respond to Sakura, he needed to “trick” them somehow into believing it was Sakura using them? So the bears are somehow connected and whenever Syaoran needs to use the power of a card (he has so far used Firey in episode 12 and Time in episode 14), he uses the link with Sakura’s bear from his and calls upon the power of the card he needs to help Sakura with? That may be what that sphere was, and also totally explain his totally guilty face both instances he used that magic. In episode 12 he was trying to hide something in his palm before he used fire again, and I’m almost positive it was another sphere.
But still, Eriol clearly hasn’t told him everything, because he sure as hell does know Kaito is the big bad but is pretending not to know much about him, and Syaoran only sensed his magic but obviously doesn’t fully know he is the threat; so Syaoran is just suffering doubly because he is worried about Sakura and now also worried about having to hide things from her, and then “when the time comes” (whatever that means) I’m pretty sure he will feel he is no longer worthy of her or something, idk.
Anyway, I know this barely makes sense but I just tried to come up with an explanation as to how is Syaoran using the Sakura cards (which I’m just sure he is, like come on), and I mean all the shots at those bears surely mean they are connected to al this in a major way.
Oh and also, I read somewhere CLAMP said that the second movie would be important to this plot right? Then how tf is it that Eriol’s house is still standing if it was supposedly demolished to build the amusement park? I just don’t see how they will solve all the plot threads in only 7 episodes, so hopefully we will get a second season *fingers crossed*
